Has any of you read something by Spanish novelist Javier Marias? I’d had him for very long on my reading list, and finally I came around to trying one of his books, “A Heart So White” (a sentence from “Macbeth”). I liked it very much and am eager to try something else.

I have three of Javier Marías’s works: A Heart So White, All Souls, and Your Face Tomorrow (3 vols). I have them because I’ve been collecting and reading the works from 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die. But I haven’t gotten around to reading any of them yet. I’ve been hoping to read at least All Souls fairly soon because it’s set in Oxford, which is on the itinerary for my vacation in June.
