“Last book I read is ‘My Brilliant Friend’ by Italian author Elena Ferrante. The story takes place in Italy and it is about a very intense relationship between two girls, whose friendship stretches from the primary school to university years. I enjoyed reading this book immensely due to both character development and portrayal of the historical change that took place in Italy, especially in those small towns. This is the first of the 4 books that Ferrante wrote. I decided to read the remaining 3 too. It is very gripping. I definitely recommend it.”
