Nana – Émile Zola – 1880

A really pleasant and entertaining book. I highly recommend it for almost anybody.
I only give it three stars because to get four or five, I would ideally want the book to be deeper. However, Nana is very well written, and its descriptive language is beautiful. I could picture the opera rooms, the visits to the country side, the beauty of the women. I read it in Spanish, which is not too different from French. I don’t know how good the English translation may be.
